Kingsley's Chicken Belconnen

Tried the famous Kingsleys. Weren’t overly impressed. The chicken was nice - slightly on the dry side. The chips which they advertise as “Awesome chips” was far from that unfortunately. They were quite oily and tasted mushy. We took the chips back for a new batch - the staff were very obliging and polite. Unfortunately the new batch wasn’t much better. The oil may have needed changing or something. Would not go back there.

I highly recommend Kingsley Chicken Restaurant in Belconnen to all chicken lovers and food enthusiasts alike. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with friendly faces, tantalizing aromas, and a menu that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Whether you're craving crispy fried chicken, juicy burgers, or delectable wraps, Kingsley Chicken is the place to be. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their delightful offerings.

Today we have been there. With combo deal I know that any chicken they want to give I have to take that but why is it same when I am buying individually or separately? When I asked the lady instead of small pieces give me all same large pieces. She told me If you buy 5 pieces you have to get combined pieces. My question is I paid for per pieces of chicken not for a deal and you are not taking less money for small chicken. Do you? And service was really bad. I felt like they are very unhappy while giving us service and doing their jobs by force. Not feeling to go back there anymore if they don’t fix these issues.

The burger patty, adorned with delectable Cajun seasoning, was juicy, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The spicy kick from the seasoning added an exciting twist to the taste. The cheese was flawlessly melted, and the fresh, crisp toppings harmonized brilliantly. Nestled within a soft, lightly toasted brioche bun, the Cajun Burger stood as a testament to Kingsly's culinary prowess. If you visit, make sure you don't miss out on this. However, the disappointing part was the chicken patty within the burger. It was tragically overcooked and dry. The contrast with the burger's juiciness was stark. It's evident that a tad more care in preparing the chicken could have made this burger an unblemished delight. Perhaps using a more succulent cut of chicken or fine-tuning the grilling process would rectify this flaw. The letdown continued with the fries. They arrived at our table in a less-than-ideal state—soggy and lacking the coveted crispy exterior. These fries, despite their potential, felt like an afterthought, and it's a shame because well-executed fries can greatly enhance the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Kingsly's Cajun Burger is undeniably the highlight of the menu—a symphony of flavors that you should not miss. However, the underwhelming, overcooked chicken patty within it was a letdown. For a complete culinary journey, Kingsly's might need to address the consistency issue with the chicken and pay more attention to the execution of their fries. Despite the hiccups, I'd still recommend giving the Cajun Burger a try on your visit, and perhaps in the future, Kingsly's will perfect the art of their chicken and fries.
